New Homes in Castle Rock – Cobblestone Ranch by Richmond Homes

Cobblestone Ranch, a new home community in Castle Rock, is located just off of Parker Road between Parker and Franktown. Even though Cobblestone Ranch is within the city limits of Castle Rock, it is arguably closer to the amenities in the town of Parker than Castle Rock. In fact, the elementary school that students living in Cobblestone Ranch will attend is Franktown Elementary. Middle School students will attend Sagewood Middle School in Parker and high school students attend Ponderosa HS in Parker.

Residents of Cobblestone Ranch in Castle Rock will enjoy the community clubhouse, pool and tennis courts. There are also parks and playgrounds for the little ones.

Richmond currently has only one model home to tour within the community, the Seth. Although the collection where this model is located is nearly sold out. The option to build from the ground up is no longer available in this series. They do have six inventory homes available for sale and quick move in. There are two ranch homes available and the rest are two story homes. Prices range from $492,153 to $528,286.

Richmond has opened up a new collection of homes in Cobblestone Ranch. The Seth floor plan, which was offered in the prior series will also be available in the new series. In January, Richmond plans to open several new models in the community to showcase the new collection. Even though the new models are not open, sales on the new series has begun. There are eight floor plans to choose from, which include two ranch floor plans. Prices range in the mid 300’s to the low 400’s.

The Richmond sales associate informed me that the new collection will offer some more modern options. I think that this is refreshing and has been much needed in Richmond built homes. Although I believe that Richmond builds a good home, I have felt that they have needed some modern touches. Typically when I look at Richmond models, I feel like they are a bit boring and more traditional compared to some of the other builder’s homes that I have seen. Rarely am I surprised or overly impressed by their model homes. I’m excited to see the new models in January and hoping for something more than the typical Richmond model.

The Seth has an open, flowing main floor. The home has plenty of windows and very light and bright. I liked the two eating spaces with a dining room and eating space off the kitchen. The laundry room is located on the second floor, which I am a big fan of. It is much more convenient to have your laundry located on the bedroom floor.
