New home community, Siena by KB Homes, is centrally located in the town of Castle Rock. The community is an easy walk from Douglas County High School. And both downtown Castle Rock and shopping on Founders Parkway are both just a short five minute drive away.
KB Homes is offering eleven floor plans in this community. Of the eleven, six are ranch homes. So if you are looking for a new ranch home in Castle Rock, this community is a must see. Two of the ranch plans also include a finished basement in the base price of the home. Base prices start in the high 300’s and top out in the low 400’s. There are two models on site to tour. I must say that I am typically quite impressed when I go visit KB Home communities and tour their models. I felt a bit underwhelmed when walking through the models at Siena. This had to do with the decorating more than anything else. The homes themselves were well laid out with open livable floor plans.
Douglas county happens to have some of the highest property taxes in Colorado. A huge benefit of the Siena community is that their taxes are much lower than some of the other communities within the county and Castle Rock. KB Homes did not take out any bonds to facilitate in the construction of infrastructure in the community thus keeping property taxes lower.
Another benefit in this community is that it is possible to get a lot that offers views of Castle Rock, including views of Rock Park.
